On the evening of October 10th, 2024 the skies lit up due to a severe geomagnetic storm caused by a coronal mass ejection (CME) from the sun. The aurora was visible across a wide area, from the Arctic Circle to as far south as Florida and the Bahamas. I raced down to the beach to capture this special event with the aurora dancing over the Atlantic Ocean.
